I’ve had Him on my altar/offering shrine along with Apollo and Persephone for a long time. I woke up a little bit about Him after reading about Him on a Substack essay (which I can’t link to) about the accuracy of the Moon Knight finale.
I was wondering recently if I should keep His statue on my altar, or put Him in the Magical Cabinet (woo–private joke). I thought that since I’m not writing much anymore, I thought to put him away. So I did a card reading:
Past, present future.
Past: he helped me through worry and getting my novels out. Presently, I want to abandon Him. But if I keep him close, he will be helpful to me (and bring me money, or at least satisfaction).
I need to work with him more, I think. Talk to him. Establish a place in the Astral to talk to Him. I know I’m mixing up caps when I write about him. I’m sorry. I’m not sure whether he will listen if I keep using small letters. I will have to call him by His Egyptian name, first.
